NEW YEARS: In Pattaya or BKK?

So... If you had the choice (or maybe you do, you lucky person!) where would you choose to spend New Years?

Pattaya or Bangkok?

It's a bit too noisy and congested in Pattaya for me so I'll be in Bangkok for this years jubilation!

Erm no, I'd definitely prefer to be in Bangkok...
...I will most likely (90%) be in Frankfurt..
Which will be nice compromise....

Reckon I have been in Pattaya for New Years Eve on fifteen occasions therefore, this year I am giving Bangkok and Guess Bar a try followed by somewhere else for a few hours after.
Christmas is gonna be on Phuket, so impressed was I with the standard of talent there a couple of weeks ago.

Well I won't be in the LOS until January 10, but I think I'd prefer BKK for New Years. But if somebody said they would transport me immediately I would not be so choosy.

I stopped New Yearing in Pattaya due to the drunks and clowns letting fireworks of haphazardly in Walking St and other places...As a rought guess i would guess that at least half a dozen people lose there eyesight

If you dont believe me the  just count the eye patches the day after.

remember seeing a mass brawl around 1999 when an Arab fired a rocket which hit some Angry skinhead type in the chest outside the  Marine Bar. It might be different now but i doubt it..

In a perfect world id pull a Walther PPK and just blow out the brains of the first drunken bum carrying fireworks that stumbled into me...

On the plus side Pattaya is fun for three days before as they have a massive Party at the far far end of Walking Street and beyond in the big open space which name escapes me. Rock Bands , Music and quite a few Ladyboys hovering around. Also last year they had an open Party, maybe one of these Issan parties, in the Parkland near main crossroads . Whether the power that be will lay on the same i have no clue....

Unfortunately I'll be in sunny Ireland , but if I had a choice my ideal night would be Guess bar Bangkok trying to hum auld lang syne with one of Joy's ample busoms in my mouth
