I always start to say that I'm from The Netherlands, but that's an unknown country for almost everyone. Holland is the second option (although not correct), but in the end "a small country on the border of Germany" is were I live.

Allow me to enter the fray and defend Stogie in regards to the omission of Phuket by saying that, though I may be mistaken, I think this poll came as a result of a conversation we had where I asked his advice.  I'll be spending Christmas in Phuket and then have another week and a half to split between BKK and Patts.  

There has been so much banter about the merits, or lack there of, of spending NYE in each place, so I asked Stogie his opinion.  I think he was just doing a courtesy by throwing that poll out there.  And that's why Phuket wasn't included, as I'll just have come from there.

And all this is irrelevant of the fact that he wouldn't have included it anyway.
