MK is correct. They are scars, not a sign of HIV. The one on her arm is clearly from early vaccination, almost certainly BCG or less possily, Diph-Tet; caucasians tend not to scar so much. Similarly, the scar on her leg is from burn or accident.
This is not to say that she does or does not have HIV. She may have it, but who knows? However, the scars would be unrelated if she did.
