I get so excited upon my arrival to BKK and I walk down Sukhamvit down Soi 1 into NaNa and see all of the bar girls and the girls coming to work and praying to the big Buddah. How fucking hypocritical. I love it there. The whole scene.

Yes it is, i always remember one moment when i was the first time in Nana i saw a girl praying for Buddha before going up to the dancing stage.
It was some kind of interesting and some kind of funny because she was praying for customers in that moment.
I am not sure if Buddha supports that too, but hey what do i know about that religion

Buddha can be best explained this way "it is not a religion but a way of life".
It's not the 10 Commandments or the koran etc. where if you fuck someone out of marriage you break your religions key "laws" and go to hell, how stupid is this!
You can fuck all you want with Buddhism, its the way you go about conducting your life with people, plants and animals and that is to be good to all and follow common sense what is right and what is wrong.
If the whole world followed Buddah and sumped all other "religions" it would be a hell of a better world and that goes for christianity, muslim etc.
Have you ever heard anyone being killed in the name of Buddah, ok now how about christianity ( Crusaders etc) and muslim ( dont have to tell you here).
Anyway I know this shit because I read a couple of books on it and took an intererest, true or not it made sense to me.

I don't go to Nana very often myself, even though I go past it on the train most days! In fact the last time was with Jon months ago.

I still get a good and very surreal buzz out of the whole gig. Now that I have been a few times I must admit I do feel more in control of what is going on around me - that said; I have never (nor will I) ever been there on my own!

Hopefully I will meet up with a couple of the lads there this weekend...

I was i Cascades in September and i reckon you would get more people at a Kamikaze pilots reunion.


KC3 is much better, more of a party atmosphere.

I have lived in Bangkok for 7 years and have been to Nana about 6 times. The reason being that it takes me about a year to forget what a shithole the place is...inside and out.

Make no mistake, when you spot your favourite girl dancing around a pole or hussling outside...she will and has been fucked by anyone who wants to pay. I saw one of this sites more famous girls playing pool in Soi 7 and she was all over an Indian guy who looked like a leper, literally, so much so that the girls in there didn't want to serve him drinks. Didn't bother the ladyboy...

Do the sums, at Nana you are talking about 3 bars, maybe a total of 150 ladyboys working in total and a max of about 30 to 40 freelancers that hang around outside. How many tourists per year?......and don't forget the popular girls get fucked a hell of a lot more than the average skank...and most of them are very very average.

Point being, great fun to visit on a holiday, sure.......but the really pretty ladyboys are found at Unis, shopping centres etc...as has been mentioned before. Of course great fun on a holiday at Nana but I don't know any expats who go there on a regular basis.

KC3 has better looking girls and more variety but the mamasan is a cunt and so are the bar staff....if you want to get into trouble that is the place.

Hmmm.....6 times in 7 years, must be about time to go there again! Maybe tonight....

you are dead right mate.......I didn't make my point very well I guess because I was really thinking about the posts giving advice to the young guy on his way here. I didn't add my 10 cents worth there because, well, I don't know the guy and maybe all he wants to do is fuck Areeya or something. It seems that most first timers arriving here have their own personal "Holy Grail" of ladyboys. Maybe a 24 year old first timer would have some success but I forget how hard it is when you come here for the first time..

Your right about that old Mamasan in KC3 , she is a horror. She was last reported smiling on July3rd 1987. The sooner she turns up her toes the better.

The ripping seems to have stopped but i know the waitress quite well and tip her well.

But on a friday night it takes some beating for a good atmosphere. I still go to Nana but i dont hang around to long.
I suppose though we should be thankfull that there are LB Bars in the first place.

I was in Hong Kong last week and i can tell you that the LB situation is very bad. Its hit rock bottom for talent. I wont bother looking next time.

yeah...I just got back from a week in Manila.
You think the things they have been posting here lately look ugly in the pics....you should see some of them for real!
I am a strong advocate of inter racial relationships, but I have to draw the line at mixing species. They are not only ugly ladyboys but they are also ugly men!
