(s.b., i dont know where this post really belongs, here, trip reports or most likely in the trash!)

cassanova.. it certainly has a reputation amongst BKK folk of being crap de la crap, the mamasan of all shitpits, etc...

but i had simply grown bored of the other bar offerings in bangkok.. and i do usually see a few good lookers outside the door,

so i figured, hey, i'm still physically able to defend myself, i can afford to leave after 1 sip of my beer if its that bad, etc..

so the girl closest to the door assists my entry (with a gentle arm out pull) and then a few approach for a surprisingly tame shark surround. they informed me to pick one, so i did. but not the girl who pulled me. rather one with braces and long hair and a pleasantly obvious bulge down 'there'.
not too hard of a time from the rejected on either.

it was quiet and relaxed surprisingly. there were a few lads and lad-lasses sitting about. the music was not horrible or too loud, a bit more unmemorable actually.

overall i was quite surprised. me and mine sat on the couch kissing etc and were unbothered. it was a much more pleasnat experience than i had had at obsession and cascades recently surprisingly.

could just be the night.. but my point is, you dont have to be terrified of the place... it was actually more GUESS bar -like than cascades or obsessions in that there were couches and a somewhat laidback lounge feeling.

no place id hang out in on a regular basis but good for a quick shopping trip.

I personally like Casa and have been going there for years; know most of the girls [or  DID know 'em once] and they are always friendly and polite, no drama and no hassles.  Of course new guys and those poor Japanese fellows look like they are getting mugged every time,  but for veterans they leave us alone and bring over a beer and let us chat, etc..... they probably know we are not taking anyone.

    Obsessions is still far better and IMO the best ladyboy bar anywhere, but this place is cool for a few primer beers and also for you guys who are bottoms or like your ladyboys tall and busty, usually well-hung, etc.....

 good job for checking this place out, Qwerty, and you're still alive to share the tale!

And I agree, I've never had a problem while visiting Casanova...While I'm not a frequent visitor like TTChang...I ventured in on occasion and the girls seems to know it's not my first visit and leave me alone...Although I have seen guys swallowed up by a gaggle of girls...

Qwerty's report proves once again, there ain't really a bad LB bar out there....

   Yes, I  have always found that Obsessions has the most talent by far and more girls of "my type" than anywhere;  and how can you NOT like a place with 70+ ladyboys crowding the stage virtually every night?

 I don't get hassled there either, must be the B.O.

just wondering if you've been to obsession in the past month? i have to say while it was far and away my favorite place in the world for 'discovering' beautiful, petite, femme and fresh ladyboys on all 5 of my previous visits to the LOS, on this last trip, despite about a half-dozen visits (usually in the company of another BM or two) i never saw more than one girl who fit the bill that previously at least 6-10 fit *every* time i visited.
maybe the employer's and/or general clients' tastes are changing, but i'd have to say i was surprised to find the various bars of pattaya held much more beauty for me than obsession this last time round.
please note this is *all* just IMHO. but since you and i have shared similar tastes before, i am curious...

i like the place too- never bar-fined anybody from there but have been tempted on a couple of occasions.

There are a few pretty hot amazons knocking about the place and it is worthy for a beer if you wanna take a break from the other shitpits.
i never get hassle in there which is probably because i have never bar-fined

Count me in as a Casanova enthusiast.   I 've been in there with a few BMs ... on their first venture into this bar.  And all have been pleasantly surprised (and not mobbed).   I know there's a few awkward buggers, like Stogie, who think it's a dump.   And some who still think it's all amazons (it ain't)

Sounds like qwerty found Candy, though     ....   who I admit is my usual reason for going in there.

Went in last week to chat to Bee (ex Cascades), and to Pinky (great attitude).   Pinky reminded me that it was Candy's day off.  'Yes, I said, I know !!!'

As soon as Pang/Polly/Sydney hit this website back a few years ago I got my culo to Casanova Bar A.S.A.P. It was my first visit and I was not disappointed. NO femboys in this place and not for the faint of heart. I just walked up to the front door, checked out the LB'S milling about outside and went inside to look for Pang. Sat my ass down and took in the whole scene. The normal thing happened as a few of the LB'S hit me up for Ladydrinks and the usual blather, like "What your name, Where you come from?" As soon as I told them I was wanted to meet with Pang I was left alone. Pang was up on the stage dancing and as soon as word got to her that she had a "victim" lined up she was by my side. What followed with her was a memorable experience and I have returned to that bar a few more times over the years. Well worth a looksee but guys should have their wits about them when taking on the LB'S from this place.

Hell, I haven't even been to Thailand in a full year!

My last trip into Obs was probably Jan of 2007, filled with "My type" and soooo many cute girls trying to look Japanese for the large amount of Japanese fellows who like that place...... it was pure heaven. If it has changed, that's a shame.

First went there about ten years ago and well before I became the unashamed ladyboy porn addict that I now am. It was therefore something of a surprise when Talisha pulled that thing out of her knickers. I think my jaw hit the floor. It wasn't so much the length of it - more the width.

I've got really fond memories of Casanova. The amazons there are actually fun and the mugging is really play acting. Most of know that they aren't that great looking and just enjoy the banter. Personally I've found the vibe in Obsessions can be much more oppressive.

I am one that has avoided Casanova. Too many big, manly type ladyboys and way too pushy. But it seems to have turned the corner. I had noticed some fairly cute girls out front more and more of the time until finally decided to give it a try again. After this latest experience I think it is worthwhile now. I'm not really a fan for the lounge format inside a gogo though. It is a little too one on one and I like to watch the happenings on stage more. But girl quality has completely changed for the better.

In my limited experience in BKK, Casanovas can be a bit daunting for the newbie. However after a few weeks in the scene, you get used to the general chat up and drink requests. The main difference in Casanovas and the other nana locations is the general genre of the ladies there. They are more amazonia and they seem to be packing it more than some of the other bars.
