Actually surferboy, these three factors of human sexuality are academic points we tirelessly discuss during our school awareness campaigns from my trans-support group here in Manila. I have no idea at all of a fourth one!    Or perhaps we should start throwing away these research materials we have now and maybe start updating them with, uhm, yours?

But then again, given in a hypothetical world that fourth dimension does exist, I would be more accepting if you limit the conditions to among active, passive or versatile. Being passive IS NOT always a feminine role at all! Nor being active is exclusively a masculine role either. It still boggles me like crazy how you can exactly define what "feminine role" is! Its like asking a woman why shes one.  Its quite crazy, yes!   (did you notice I used the word "crazy" twice already   )

Let's hope Oprah, in campaigning for Obama, hasn't convinced him that masculine can also be passive!

There is a lot of nuance in all of this. A woman might take the "woman-on-top" position, and in doing so, take more of an "active" role, but as long as it's his penis that is inside of her, I think that he has the "masculine", and therefore the truly active, role.

I am not prepared to concede that passive is not mutually exclusive with masculine.

Yes, I am a bit crazy, but I see that you use use the word "mad" in your signature. I'm prepared to say that I'm too am partial to mad love if that would put us on the same page.

...hmmm, so how do you reconcile this with a lesbian couple having their fulfillment with, if I may be graphic, a double-ended dildo?

          Lesbians are fascinating creatures!

I won't pretend to know the answer to your question!

Perhaps we should ask Portia Di Rossi, babe extraordinaire!

Although in the picture below, I think it is clear who is assuming the masculine and feminine roles!

My My My. This is all becoming to much about labels that do not reflect reality. I know from my own experience that I can top my lover and ten minutes later let her top me and we role around on the bed and do anything that comes to our minds. Dissecting this behaviour and assigning roles and labels to it would be absurd. But it is a human tendency to pigeon hole every nuance.

You are simply smitten by the serenades of stereotyping!    (I love alliterations!   )

Sure, Ellen wears the literal tie in public. But, who knows, she might be the one who ends getting tied up behind closed doors while your babe extraordinaire Portia turns out to be a "special" girl after all and assumes the not-so-feminine role!

Portia does not 'ppear to perceive that prissy pricks are precluded from 'ppreciating pretty princesses, like herself.

Perhaps a Pinay prettylady prefers a princely partner who's purely in his prime and proficient in passion...

Did you time yourself as to how long you were actually able to compose that, surferboy?

                    S

(Nicely done though. But if I were to grade it, Id give you a B for omitting a couple of a's   )

I never try to rush when I'm focused on impressing a woman. For a girl, I have all the time in the world.

A "B" in writing is fine by me. I think my highest marks are achieved in other areas...

A surfer guy (I assume on the beach) who uses alliteration to impress women? Since when did that happen?
