First time I became aware of my "abnormal" sexual attraction orientation: Hong Kong in the 60's, before my teenage years(I think I was before ten years old). There was a Japanese trans-girls dance/show troupe visiting and performing in Hong Kong. Later, I read in magazine that they were called "Blue Boys"(?)

Since then, I've embraced my "abnormal" orientation. I'm lucky to have realized and accepted this part of me at so early an age- not so easy at times. The rest, as you all know, is history.

The Chinese called Them: 人妖 -renyao (phoenetically)- the approximate definition is man-freak(?), which I considered derogatory. I don't really like this name very much. This name is still being use today in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

My first interest was from watching the US talk show "Maury Povich" as a teenager in the late 90s. Really into it i got after my diforce from my ex-wife.

Can't remember its title but I saw a film in the early 1970's staring Haley Mills which had a 15 minute scene in Bugis Street Singapore.

I managed to get to Bugis Street in the mid 1980's during a brief stopover on the way to Oz. The US navy was in that night and the scene was as wild as anything in Nana Plaza. Many of the girls were really stunning.
