I actually thought long and hard about posting in this thread, but anyhow here's my opinionated opinions fir what they are worth and bear in mind, these come from a qualified Boy Scout First Aider (circa 1964 but has the human body changed much ib that time?). I also found that to my chagrin I have not shagged 3000 LBs - probably due to my need to get my breath back after each "event".

So - since she started posting here Jaimee has appeared to be an intelligent articulate person, so I think we can take it as read that any decision she makes will be based on her aspirations and desires, not what we BMs think.

The ideal of beauty is different for each person and stems as much from self confidence as anything else. If you doubt this read many of the trip reports and you'll find that the most favoured girls are the ones that are fun to be with, not neccessarily the most photogenic.  

But this self confidence comes from within and depends on self image as much as anything else. A friend of mine from the Phills called Carla (used to live in London) was a pretty LB with a great sense of humour and time with her hurtled past. She became obsessed with her look and had her ribs removed and her eyes "Westernised".  

Her lovely slim figure was sacrificed to a strange ideal of beauty and those fabulous almond eyes became staring and slightly mad looking. But she thought it was terrific andat the end of the day thats all that matters. Not me, not the people she worked with but her. The thing I remember more clearly than anything is how painful rib removal was for her.

As I said, my thoughts on the subject - take 'em or leave them.

Whatever else everybody has said, intelligently or otherwise, the almost unanimous view was that Jaimee is a babe and very few of us want to see her change. We have all seen or heard of bad results from different surgeries and it's painful to think somebody we perceive of as beautiful wanting to change.

She is undoubtedly smarter than 90% of us offering advice but the advice is heartfelt and well intentioned nonetheless. I, for one, hope she changes her mind but assume whatever she decides it will be well considered and probably wind up being for the best.

Fred, it bothers me when I find myself agreeing with your posts. Not sure what that means about me as I age.

The patronizing statement that "ribs do not grow back" is not surprising in the least. Surgeons are notorious for speaking condescendingly to others.

So you don't cut anyone open, you just cut and paste.

That's exactly what I was trying to say. Our opinions do count a full round ZERO since Jaymee confidence, as you rightly put it, depends upon how she feels when looking herself at the mirror, and not from what others may or may not suggest.
I have (unsuccessful) attempted to let the Superego BMs around grabbing the point. But as just said..are Superegos, hence uncapable to look things clearly.

Instead, you posted a meandering hodgepodge of opinionated B.S. and stereotype that included several offensive statements, and that hit such scattered and scatterbrained topics as gay bodybuilders, Mediterranean women who "dye their hair blonde", how "Chinese/Japanese/Korean women" are "walking ironing boards", how "Mother Nature decided that" Chinese women are "not exactly what you would picture as a sexy female body", the bit about "most Chinese women", and Navy Seals.
