If any of you have travelled extensively to China and/or (north) Far East will know that most Chinese/Japanese/Korean women are far from having curvacious features that you see in S.E. Asian women like Thai, Philipino and Indonesian. So much so to make them look, in many cases, a bit like " walking ironing board " with tendency of having longish and straight torso and shortish limbs. Not exactly what you would picture as a sexy female body.

Lots of variables affect curviness, including lifestyle factors such as diet and exercise, and duration and amount of female sex hormones (even ovarian estrogen production varies among individuals). Your statement is a huge stereotype about Chinese. If you get to know a few, you might find there are plenty of Chinese people who do not fit your stereotype.

"Most"? "Most" probably do not have foreign b/fs. Further, not all North Asian women have flattish faces! And what does North Asia have to do with Singapore and Jaymee? The ethnic Chinese there are predominately derived from emigrants from southern Chinese (who actually don't all look same).

Why select out Meditarranean women and not Asian women? After all, Asian women usually have black hair too. Asian women, by and large, don't "dye their hair blonde". Perhaps the Meditarranean women do it because, in many cases, one's hair can lighten in the sun naturally, and they want to achieve this effect. Moreoever, if blonde is the desirable hair color, why are darker-haired men still idealized by many "Northern women". Dying the hair black used to me more popular, and even Jackie Kennedy did it, but black hair dye got a bad rap for being a potential carcinogen (see FDA statement here. I'm not saying that I believe black hair dye does this, but it did get bad press.)

I do believe there are more civilized ways to disagree with people. Especially people you know nothing about.

Fred's points were TOTALLY opinionated and not taking into minimum consideration which direction the world spins. The concept of beauty and gorgeousness, whether we like it or not, it's strongly anchored to western icons.

Funnily enough, believe it or not, the 'walking iron boards' was suggested to me by an ex-g/f of mine who happened to be a finalist for Miss Hong Kong 1994..hilarious no? It actually got stuck in my mind and whan I say that to other Asian guys they all laff mad. My sincere apologies to everyone in the Board who got offended by that.

The fact that I'm in Asian TS site implies that I do like Asian women and ts, obviously. But then again, looking at things with a grain or two of objectivity always helps, instead of starting ranting all the way. The fact that we may like slim Asian women doesn't dictate that all of a sudden standards of female beauty have to now obey to our wishes.

Your curiosity is hereby promplty satisfied I hope. It was a simple analogy like also non-Asian people like to 'comply' to standards of beauty that are bombarding us daily. Men like/want/need to have perfect bodies, dark haired ladies 'need' to appear prettier and sexier with ablond hairdo..and several other examples that we could all put on the table. Again, if you think these two analogies were so much out of place, accept my apologies.
