The Suk 11 Hostel is probably my favourite restaurant in Bangkok. I am not sure how the actual hotel part of the hostel is but the restaurant is fantastic. It is located in an Alley just off of Sukhumvit 11 with a number of other restaurants, including a strange bar called Cheap Charlies.
The other restaurants in the alley are nice but the Suk 11 Hostel restaurant is incredible. Most of the restaurant is located out in the alley which is quite cool, There is also some seats inside and upstairs in case of rain but they have quite the Roman Aqueduct system of plastic sheets hung above to block the rain from most tables.
The atmosphere is great and the food even better, plus the prices are not too bad.
The Panang Gai is the best I have ever had, plus everything else is great, including the servers.
Check this place out soon because word is the whole alley is getting mowed down for a new hotel.
Sad because this place has been here almost 40 years.
