Sports Bars in BKK

I was wondering if there were any sports bars in BKK that may carry college football games from the U.S. I will be in BKK over New Years and would love to catch the bowl game my university will play in. It looks like it will be the Gator Bowl, which will be broadcast on CBS in the states. I have seen an NFL game at a bar in Pattaya early one morning, so I thought it may be possible. Also, I'm staying at the Dynasty Inn Grande, so is there a chance the game may be showing in the room? Any input would be appreciated! Thanks.

Not a very happy hunting ground for you Lucky. I remember a 10 goal and 118 point blitz by Jonathon Brown and Brisbane against your beloved blues that we witnessed at that venue.

Hopefully Chris Judd can help Carlton on on their rise up the ladder.

Not that much US sport on the channels here, they just aren't popular enough with the locals in this part of the world.

A Canadian friend of mine gets his ice hockey fix through broadband and a paid-for service from Canada.

Plain and simple, it is a total and complete waste of your time looking for a place to watch a College Bowl game in Bangkok. The Office Bar is definitely NOT the place to go. I learned my lesson about that place a few years ago. Unless you are a big and I do mean a BIG fan of Rugby you are a fish out of water in that place. Loud, obnoxious Brits, Aussies, Kewies all trying to make themselves heard do not a fun time make.
