Hi all
I'm going to Phuket 25/11-2008 for the first time. Any lb friendly hotell close to Bangla rd for around 1500 bat.
Any Swedish lb lovers on this forum?

It's coming into high season around then so I'm not sure about availability but you could try the Lawan Residence or C&N Hotel, both on Rat U Thit Rd.

If you can stretch to 1700, I can recommend the Summer Breeze Hotel on Soi Sansabai.

when i was there a couple of years ago i stayed at the sand,right at the top of bangla.not to far to stagger home and everyone seems to meet at the outside area and in the street,after the bars close.

a nice small guesthouse very close to the action...only 5 rooms...so no reception...clean...and no joinerfees...no matter how many you bring back...and they are well used to BM`s from this and the other site..

the owner is also a nice guy...who knows a lot about the scene...

One of the best deals is C&N Hotel and close to the action.Extremely guest-friendly.no matter which sex.

Right on the website it says this:

Here is a map of the Royal Paradise Hotel location. The Place to Stay is located on the bottom of the "U" closest to Bangla Road.



This is only about 75 m from Bangla Road. I've stayed there a few years ago and highly recommend it.

Hi guys thanks for the hotel links. I am thinking of staying at the C&N Hotel but am concerned about the noise at night. Would I be able to sleep at night (when I eventually get to sleep) or is the noise from Bangla too much? I am also looking for a room that has free internet access and on the C&N site it mentions wifi. Anyone use the wifi there? Thanks guys.

C&N is fine...yes, it's close to Bangla, FBI etc. but unless you like to go to bed early or you're a light sleeper then the noise should not be a problem.

In fact the only problem you might have with noise is the sound of girls arriving late at night and leaving early in the morning...the C&N is known as "the Inn of the clicking heels", so called because of the tiled floors in the corridors and the nightly parade of girls in and out of the guest rooms.

I don't have any personal experience of the Siam Hotel but, as far as I know, all of the guest houses on Soi Banzaan (Siam Hotel, Ferb Guesthouse, Chalermporn Guesthouse, U Sabia Living) are guest friendly and LB friendly. I like Soi Banzaan...it's close to the action but not too close, Jungceylon is right on your doorstep and so is Chang Pool Club (for those who occasionally like a drink after 4 am). I'll be staying on Banzaan myself month.
