I'm considering staying there as it was listed as ladyboy friendly on thailandredcat and wanted to ask if any has more information.

I would try to pick a great room so that the distance is less of a problem.

That hotel is a long way from the ladyboy action. I would consider booking something a little closer to Soi Buakhao to be in walking distance.
This hotel is close to the shopping mall but is quite far from Ladyboy bars and walking street and alot of the action.

The P Plus Hotel has a review here and is very good for the price.
For a nicer hotel consider Areca lodge, it's ladyboy friendly and really nice hotel in a good location.

Also consider the View Talay 6 Condos. They have good views and are close to beach road and the action.

All the reviews here in the last 10 years should still be valid and they are all ladyboy friendly.

I see, we already have the reservation but I'll see if there are better options. We wanted to have a fancy place with jacuzzi or similar for our Pattaya guests.

At worst we will be going in & out by taxi or tuk-tuk.

Nothing wrong with this hotel. As I say it is quite far from most of the action and things to do.
Almost all hotels in Pattaya are ladyboy friendly there is some with jacuzzis closer, but Jacuzzis aren't hugely popular in Thailand.
There is some nice suites with Jacuzzis in View Talay and Areca lodge is really nice with two swimming pools and a whirlpool I believe.

Pattaya doesn't have many regular taxis like Bangkok and there is very few Tuk Tuks. Most people get around Pattaya in Baht Buses or Motorcycle Taxis.
Baht buses should be fairly convenient to that hotel as they travel down second road an then down beach road.

Finally we changed the reservation to something much closer, cheaper but still nice and with a good room in Intimate Hotel.

12 min both for katoeys are us & sensations.

That looks like a much better location. Close the ladyboy bars and walking street. Much closer to the action.
Baht buses are very easy and cheap but you are close to most stuff including Walking Street.
Looks like a nice hotel and it has a huge pool. Make sure to give us a review.
