I stay at the Kingfisher on Soi Yensabai, at most a 5 minute walk.  600 baht a night for big rooms.  Less for smaller room.  I'm happy with the place, very low key, in room combo safe.   No ID check though, which to me is a negative if butterflying.  Popular with Norwegians.

Exact same rooms as Kingfisher is next door at Monty's guesthouse, it used to be the same hotel.  Monty's costs about 100 baht more than the Kingfisher but an all day breakfast is included. Be aware that Monty's is a gay guesthouse.

Both places a re a 1 minute walk to the pool at the Yensabai Condo which can be used for 200 baht/day or 1500 baht/month.   You can also stay at the Yensabai on a nightly basis with a certain number of minimum nights, not exactly sure how that's done but a freind said he's booking there.  If you have a room on the seaside of the Yensabai Condo you could actually jump out the window and land in Kaos now that would surprise some femboys but walking it's no closer than Kingfisher/Monty's/Koenig.

I've also stayed at the Koenig which is a cunthair closer to Sunee.  Koenig has a mostly str8 German clientele.

Have also stayed at the White Rose.  Staff was not overally friendly.  Seems to have a North African/Arab  clientelle.
