(tampanugget_2001 @ Mar. 28 2006,23:36) Thanks for the information. The grounds look lovely. Too bad the above pictured young lady can't be ordered from room service.
Once you know a girls phone number you can just give her a call and she will show up at your door... my girls had no problems getting into the Marriott all on their own. So having girls arrive at your door is not a problem... this is Pattaya!
I'm planning to make my semi-annual pillgrimage to Pattaya this upcoming April, and had a couple to questions regarding the Pattaya Marriott or Sheraton.
I have stayed at the Marriott before and really liked the facility. However, the current rates I am seeing over the net are in the neighborhood of $150 per night. Does anyone have any sources/sites for better rates?
Also has anyone tried negotiating directly with the hotel manager for a rate?
One final question regarding the Sheraton. How big a pain to get to and from the Sheraton and the nightlife. Also any problems with brining new friends back to your room.
Any input any board member can provide will be apprecitated.
I always liked the Pattaya Marriott for its excellent location. It€™s set within its own compound that€™s very private and quiet and when you€™re in there you really don€™t know you€™re only steps away from Soi 13/2 to the North with a back entrance from Beach Rd. and front from 2nd Rd. and very close to Walking St and Fun Land.
The hotel is also very Ladyboy friendly so that€™s not a problem. It's also got one of the largest and most amazing pools in Pattaya.
This time I stayed in the newly renovated Terrace Rooms. These rooms are all decked out for the Playboy in mind. Half the room is a bathroom with huge tub and walk in shower that can hold 4 people at one time!
Bring a raft and you could even do soapy€™s right in the room. I leave it up to your imagination what went on in my room the time I spent there€¦
Price range for this hotel is 6,000 to 20,000 baht per night. The Terrace rooms are 9,700 a night. Service and VAT charges extra.
Looks great, but is way to expensive for me on my 3-4 weeks trips. If I ever go on a short trip I might check it out. 13 hours until take-off, better find my suitcase
