Anyone stayed on soi 6?

i just got the go-ahead for another trip, after a month or so of planning i think i'll be bursting for some action so am considering staying at a hotel on soi 6 for a few days of hardcore, before settling down for a week and a half of standard pattaya fun.
victoria inn is the only hotel i've seen mentioned so far, anyone stayed here or elsewhere on soi 6?
i know there are good hotels on nearby sois, but i quite fancy the idea of being trapped on soi 6 for a few days with just the occasional trip to the beach or a restaurant.

Lord Nelson is owned by the same person as Queen Vic and is a bit newer. I stay at the Nelson and was very happy with it, only drawback is its a walkup (the girls hate walking). Recomended
