Pattaya hotel with in-room laprtop safe and wifi

Guys arriving in pattaya for a 2 week on 9th Feb and normally stay at araca lodge or sabai lodge. But this time taking laptop and will need to do some work. Looking for a hotel with laptop safe inroom and ideally broadband access from room, or would consider lobby, will have to work about 4 hours per day so dont want to pay stupid rates for access. Any recommendations? Would also consider going to phuket if you guys and recommend a good hotel there.

I would think any Western hotel chain (i.e. Hyatt, Starwood, Hilton, Marriot, etc...) would be able to meet your requirements. I'm not sure about Pattaya, but Phuket has most major hotel chain resorts. However you'll still pay stupid prices for broadband. It was 800 baht a day at the Hilton!

I'm not sure about Pattaya,

Pattaya is a much "older" town. Remember, it came to prominence during the Vietnam war for R&R for the US troops. Many of the hotels are showing their age.

Very central, and the deluxe rooms have in room wireless ADSL. No room safe though. Reasonably priced

Thanks for info guys, I will check out the K hotel in patong, as pattaya seems pretty full at the moment and 500b-800b for internet access is a rip off
