try areca lodge on soi diana inn,have rooms for around 1200baht a night two pools gymalso has a internet room.,a very nice hotel and good value. www.arecalodge.com

pretty tall order for that shithole town, Stewart, but in that price range you should be able to find something

I hear the Nova Lodge is nice, not sure about the safe though or the internet. DO NOT stay at the Hard Rock!! biggest rip-off in town and I can't wait until that rat's nest goes under.

I don't have to look any further since I found the Penthouse, that could be the best hotel in the world for sex tourists and the staff doesn't give a fuck what you drag in through their front doors.

PD looks like maybe only on the superior and executive rooms they have private safe.

Superior rooms are on the top floor overlooking the swimming pool with more amenities such as kettle with complimentary tea and coffee, hair dryer, bathrobes for the pool, and private safe.

Executive room , a large luxurious room overlooking the pool with private safe, big TV and many extra amenities such as kettle with complimentary tea and coffee, hair dryer, bathrobes for pool, daily newspaper and welcome fruit.

In room safe with combination lock that's bolted securely is a huge plus.
Tile floors are a huge plus.
A pool or quick access to a pool a big plus.
Friendly management a big plus.
Ladyboys not out of place a big plus.
Nearby 24 hour internet a big plus.

If your budget is ok, you should try Areca Lodge. Not bad at all. I have tried half a dozen places in Pattaya, and never been really happy. I will try this place again

Safe in Superior and Executive rooms
Tiled floors in my Superior room
2 pools, very nice
Internet room in hotel. Min 20 baht then 1 baht per min
Central location, but other side of 2nd Road from beach
Not sure about lb's staying with you and hanging about at the pool....a few too many families around for that. But fine late at night
OK gym, although cycling machine did not work
Suprerior Room 1460 per night including all you can eat breakfast
