There are lots of good monthly deals in Pattaya but great deals for short stays are tougher to come by.
Excellent rooms at the the VCC Condo and MyView Condo are only 400 a night. These rooms are 37 sqmetres, with a kitcheneete, balcony, in room safe, and nicely furnished.
In about a week their swimming pool opens, big enough to do laps, actually it looked like you could even swim today. It's especially good if you value a kitchen, personally I don't.
Fine print:
When renting by the day you still pay for water and electric but at 4 baht/unit this is a reasonable charge. The less you use the aircon then the less you pay.
If you want the room cleaned it's 150 baht, up to you.
Laundry is 200 baht, guess that means sheets and towels, not sure if it includes your clothes, up to you if you want the laundry done.
Cable TV is 10 baht a day, won't break the bank.
A mandatory check out cleaning is 400 baht so this is not a great place for only a one or two night stay.
So a 10 day stay would be 4000 + 400 check out + cable, electric, water, and any optional cleaning bills.
The ideal tenant is a guy who likes to swim and cook but doesn't soil the sheets too much.
It's on Soi 17 (but some call this Soi 16, there was a confusing renumbering) but it's the soi between Pattaya Tai and Soi VC.
It's less than a 5 minute walk to Cat's Place or TukCom, maybe slightly more than 5 to Sunee Plaza, and a little less than 15 to EZY Bar.
The monthly rate is OK for what you get but by no means a great deal. But the daily rate is great for some people.
They have a room or two availble this week, but nothing from about Dec 21st untill about January 15th.
Patrice, the rental agent, also provides the same daily deal for Yensabai Condo and View Talay though electric/water charges will vary from place to play and the condo price depends on the location.
Check out the website for an idea of what's available, just divide the monthly price by 30 to get the daily rate. Patrice seemed like a good guy.

EDIT In: Some guests have been disapointed with the shower tempeture so be careful unless the unite has an electric heater on the wall.
