Flipper House Hotel Construction Updates

Just wanted to say how impressed I am with the wealth of information this site has to offer, cheers to everyone!
I will be coming to Pattaya in November and had a reservation booked to stay at the Flipper House Hotel on Soi 7. Can any locals please let me know if construction is still going on there and when it will be finished? I read some reviews awhile back stating it is quite noisy from early morning until 6 pm. Are rooms here in decent shape? I really like this location but if noise is a factor I will go elsewhere, any suggestions in the 1,000-2,000 baht price range?
If anyone will be in town the last 2 weeks of November I'll buy ya a beer...

I stayed there once and did not like it, the hotel itself was a bit rundown and unimpressive. Can't beat the location though.
I don't have an update on the construction, I did not go to soi 7/8 on my last trip.
