I talked with the owner who is the name behind BJ's back in 2006, he indicated to me that it is a family orientated hotel and I got the impression that taking Ladyboys back would not be welcome.
Saying that I noticed in Nov 2007 there is now a building which has been erected directly infront of BJ's completely obliterating the sea view that you would have got from the upper floors, so maybe now he would be glad of the business.

I stayed there for one night in 2006. Very nice desk staff, cool dog that has the run of the place, young man spoke perfect english because had gone to school in america. Room was kind of flimsy and small. Doors always slammed too loud form other rooms. View was nice, but empty lot had tour buses using it and I got no sleep. Construction on lot now takes care of that bus problem but plugs the view. No infoo on guest policy, sorry.

Yes, I'm on my way to the 'BJ Lodge' with the whole family right now. Later I'm taking my grandmother over to the 'Anal House' for brunch.

Yes, I'm on my way to the 'BJ Lodge' with the whole family right now.  Later I'm taking my grandmother over to the 'Anal House' for brunch.

Grannies now get free mud baths at the Anal House spa!

I have known the owner there, Bill Jones from Texas, for a few years now. He has been in Pattaya for over 35 years now and thus you still can find soi BJ in the vacinity of Walking Street where he had a disco before. He was the first in Thailand to tell me to not walk on the beach at night because the transvestites there are professional pick pockets. My best guess is that there is no lost love between him and ladyboys. He was jogging one morning and was grabbed by one and was not happy on that. His hotel does have very good food as the restaurant there is where it moved when the Mariott took the property north of soi 1 that housed BJ's guesthouse and restaurant , one of my favorite places for breakfast and lunch in Pattaya.
