Recently i stayed at the GM Suites on Sukhumvit Soi 3 for 5 nights.
Sukhumvit 3, Khlong Toei Nuea, Watthana, Watthana, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand
It is on Soi 3 just east of Nana Plaza, about a 5-10 minute walk.
Also it is located right beside the Bumrungrad International Hospital, and it used to be a hospital residence converted to a hotel.
At the airport i told the taxi driver my hotel and he said he never heard of it either.
When i said it was right beside the Bumrungrad hospital, he said he didn't know what i was talking about.
Finally he told me I was pronouncing the name of the hospital wrong, so he understood all along, just being a jerk.
The we got near the hotel and drove around the hospital but he could not find it and refused to ask any security guards.
I told him it was on Soi 3 not far down from Nana Plaza, then he made fun of me because I used Nana Plaza as a point of reference.
He said all you know is Nana Plaza ha ha ha.
Finally i just told him to let me out an i asked someone myself and walked over to the hotel my self.
It is not the easiest hotel to find but not that bad, probably the worst taxi driver I have had.
Finally i got to my room which was decent with a large bed, balcony and was nicely appointed.
I paid 2300 baht per night for this room which is probably a bit on the high side for the quality.
Also they charged 1000 baht for guests, which was not good news.
The hotel is a quick walk to Nana area and BTS but there is definitely better values out there.
The is very popular with Muslim types as it is right beside the Pakistan Embassy and right beside Islam Council Headquarters.
