Hotels near Nana Plaza

I am traveling to Bkk in June and looking for a hotel that welcomes LBs? I read some previous threads about suggested hotels. Has anyone stayed at Uncle Rey's Guest House, or how about the White house?

As for Uncle Rey's...I've walked up and down Soi 4 many times and have never see this place...Frankly, I would NEVER stay anywhere that didn't at least have a web site...

But, perhaps a backbacker sort has stayed there and can give you a report...

If you are on a budget standard rooms at the nana hotel or dynasty inn hotel are not much more than 1000b,both ladyboy freindly,,best location in Bkk,both soi 4,If you prefer upscale then Majestic grande,,landmark, jw marriot are all ladyboy friendly. Have a look at asiarooms.com and refine your search to sukhumvit and you are sure to find something that meets your requirements.

Woraburi does the job, average rooms and aircon. I've paid a 1000 baht before, maybe 1200 now.

Dynasty Inn decent rooms reasonable price and 2 mins away from nana

Guys pls if u are not sure about the prices of hotels dont
hink about a price which was available 4years ago.
Nana hotel charges 1300baht +7%vat which makes it
1370 per night for their standard room. Also Dynasty
charges the same.BOth hotels are lb friendly and 1min.
away from nana plaza.BOTH hotels are always full so
pls try and make a reservation first.

Hi,
Normally I stay at Swiss Park Hotel but when I am alone in BKK as I will be this September for 3 nights, I tend to go somewhere that my GF and I don't go. I don't trust mouthy Thai desk clerks. I don't need some desk clerk saying to my GF during a check in that they saw me in there with a LB a month earlier.

Is Dynasty Inn a decent hotel to play in? I don't need fancy, just clean and reasonable to bring some female company.

walk out from nana plaza turn left up soi nana first lane on left goes in behind dynsty hotel (the old one) follow soi turn first right go to the 3end of soi(dead end) you are now standing behind the dynasty.
Uncle rays used to be in the left hand corner, filthy cockroach infested short time rooms for 100 bhat. long closed down boo hoo

Do yourself  (and the girls)  a favour  -  book into a reasonable hotel around Nana.

A decent 3 star hotel is not expensive in Bangkok and is usually nearer 4 star+ status compared to most other cities.

Forget about the staff taking notice of you preferences for 'guests'.  As long as you pay the bill 98% of the hotels in BKK don't give a s~*t!

Last time I was in Dynasty, April 2006 from my trip report #2, it was dirty, cockroach infested, and just plain nasty. I don't know how I lived there for two weeks - I was either drunk or out of the room really. Not sure if it has improved in the last several months, but I hope so. It was a really good value and was, on my first trip, fairly clean and decent.

On my 3r trip I stayed at Dynasty Grande and I can't remember how much I paid, but it was a significant amount more, which makes for more expensive punting.

uncle reys gust house is long gone mate. i usually stay at the majestic suites i book on line as it is allways fulll. i wonder why that is?
last time it wasaround 1300 bhat give or take a few baht. nice clean and very guest friendly
the only hotels that charge a joiner fee are the top hotels like landmark montien etc. just another fucking 5 star rip off
