I have been in this bar - its basically a poor copy of a Thai membership club like the Pent. You can get the same experience at Guess for half the price.

Often wondered what it was like in there... Now I'm glad I didn't go in!

It's super-swish and posh inside but it's really only any good if you drink.

All membership levels revolve around drinking a lot of Johnny Walker!

I'll stick to Guess Bar and Gatorade!

I'd say a lot less than half.

I'm always disinclined to go into any place that is up some stairs and even more reluctant to enter a place where I can't see clearly what it's like inside.

The website is quite good and it seems to look rather nice inside, but you know you are gonna be fleeced from the moment you walk in and they hand you a 200 Baht refrigerated flannel to wipe your brow with!

And why would I want to pay 300 quid and upwards to step inside when they probably fleece you for the drinks anyway.

Out of the spirit of enquiry, I assume that if I asked nicely (i.e. handed over some baht) one of the Guess Girls would wipe my fevered brow, or something similar.

There is nothing particularly wrong with the place (apart from the fact they are all real girls), its just that others do it better and have better looking girls. If you like that kind of place, there are many other better choices to consider, especially if you like the lighter skin Thai girl - basically the ones I saw were just run of the mill gogo girls (and again nothing wrong with that, but exclusive stock they aint - there are 100 better looking in Rainbow 4 to name just one gogo bar). Pricing is pretty high by Nana standards - but then again its a different market segment. It probably appeals to a guy that wants a girl, but does not want to go through either the lower end hastle in Nana or be bothered to find a freelancer in somewhere like Spasso's at the Hyatt.
