Marriot deal

Just recieved an e-mail deal form Thai Airwyas. Fly with Thai from Bris or Sydney return in June/July 07 and you can get Marriot at Sukhumvit minimum 5 night stay at 1677.50 baht (includes all taxes) per night.Buffet breakfast an extra 100 baht per night. Sounds very cheap to me. Is there building going on or is it just quite.?

Thats a great deal considering the majestic grande at the same time is 2800 per night.

that's a great price for the jwmarriot, but as for the majestic grande - my personal favorite - i *always* check sites like asiarooms.com first - i got in for 2300 in january when the hotel was quoting me 2900. you just never know.

Thai airways seems to be going all out to get business back. When Jetstar came in with Thai flights it would have hurt them. They now have in seat entertainment on their new jets and as for the food, well i drink more rum. I persume that Thai must have a strong realtionship with The JW Marriot and are trying to whoo more Aussies on their flights with cheap accom as well as cheap flights. At the moment Thai seems to be the cheapest especially being direct and flying 5 times a week from Brisvegas.

People always ask me why I stay at such an expensive hotel. Really it's because of the Thai air Marriott package deal... it's always been a good value.

$868.00 return from Brisbane includes all taxes. Shoulder add $100.00, high season add $200.00 A extra $50.00 gets you a return flight to Phuket.These prices are Australian dollars.
