I tried to book Majestic Suites but it was full....they gave me the number of the nearby Parkway Inn.....similar prices. I havnt seen that place mentioned here.....Does anyone have any info on the quality and guest friendliness of Parkway...??

Yes, I have, its a bizarre lookin place : a shop downstairs and then the lobby/cafe is on the first floor , the rooms look an old British B'n'B but are clean ( with a very well stocked fridge) and its cheap, try and get a high floor as the music from NEP seems even louder than it is the back of the Majestic.

Its ok, but not a patch on a double-deluxe room at the majestic

have stayed at both. the lift is strange from the ground floor (next to taylor shop) you can go strait to your room if you keep your key with you.. when leaving you must get out of the lift at the reception bar at the ist floor.and walk down the last flight of stairs.
guest friendly nice rooms, used to have a pool no longer in use.
