The Narai is not too far away from Nana but I would suggest in that price range look at the Landmark Hotel
and use one of the booking websites like I've shown to save an extra few dollars.

Anything with Riverside in the name is going to be even further away!    

Casanova bar is on the second floor (first floor for UK viewers) of Nana Plaza left hand rear corner as you walk into the complex  Nana Plan
If you click on the link it opens on the first (ground) floor and you walk in from Soi 4 between Big Dogs and Lucky Lukes bars.
Click on the second floor button and Casanova is top right.

Locating Ice?  -  put a post in the ladyboys lost and found.

I'm currently leaning towards the Presidente Solitaire "platinum suite" if I can afford it on my trip next Feb.

The Key Hotel is far from "Crap" , the service is excellent as are their rooms and I would have no hesistation in staying there again  

I have however booked myself a "Premier Suite" room at The President Solitaire in May and I will give my reviews on my return

Yep, it's close to Asok BTS and you're gonna need it or a taxi cause it's way down on Soi 19 behind Robinsons and across from Times Square...that is unless you want to sweat your way up to Soi 4 dodging your way along the mine field of a sidewalk...

If NEP and Guess are your ultimate destination, there are very nice hotels in the same price range much closer...DIG to name just one....

I stayed at the Royal Ivory for 2000 baht a night, it's in need of a referb, but nothing to drastic.The staff are very friendly & helpful & ladyboy friendly, the bell boys will bring the girls up to your room & if She's on a short time, will phone your room to see if it's ok for her to leave,when she's getting her ID back.I think it's expensive for what you get, but it's location, I mean it's 5 a minute walk from guess bar, no cabs & no fucking around & no short time room payment.

Recension on Swissotel Nai Lert Park:

guys, the hotel is nice but is not at all for us.
I've been there at the end of the month with other colleagues, no possibility of different joice as it was the venue of our conference.

Guests (either female or LB) are discouraged; registration a part is clearly indicated that "guest are not admitted after 10pm".

If you are in holiday with your girlfriend or you don't want to enjoy the main actraction of Bagkok, the hotel is perfect. good prices (around 90‚¬) swimming pool, large breakfast, very clean, staff polite and efficient.

Following good reviews from other members, had my first stay here last Nov....great location, nice rooms...no problem bringing girls back..at any time of the day/night.

I'll return in August, and at 2280b a night it's a dam good deal!

free internet wifi or LAN in all rooms
2 minutes from Nana BTS, a shot stroll to guess bar (5 mins?) using the back streets (hint hint for all those who don't want to be seen walking past nana)

very good service, friendly and helpful english-speaking staff

paid 20300 baht for 7 nights

The Key's own site mentions thailandselection.com to compare and book through. They quote a couple of special deals...
