This is DP. All I have to say about Dynasty is - I HATE FUCKING COCKROACHES. They seem to be everywhere, but at least they are confined to the bathroom. For the less-traveled (believe me, I've seen worse conditions of cockroach infestation), the Dynasty may be unacceptable. I've complained a few times and while they did put some traps in my room, there effect seems to be negligible. I've heard its the humidity which brings out the cockroaches at this time of the year as I did not have this problem on my last stay.

This is a picture of my room at the Dynasty Grande - it would appear that while many of the staff have transferred from the other Dynasty - they have left the cockroaches behind or at least I have not spotted any the couple of times I have stayed here.

I must to know some names of hotels in bangkok that ther are not problems for to enter with ladyboys or not problems for to da come in room ladyboys

You could contact the hotel direct  -  the webpage has a reservation enquiry form  -  they always used to reply within about 48 hours.

Normally I would book through one of the on-line agents as you usually get a good discount.  Here is the webpage for one I have used (there are others)  Asia Travel

Hi stefano ... for a 4 or 5 star, i just came back from Bkk and stayed at the Majestic Grande for over a week.

Very nice hotel and room, a buffet breakfast that will fill you until dinner and absolutely NO problems with lbs coming or going from your room.

There is that "walk of shame" and I felt that too the first night, but then after that, my attitude was who the f@#* cares and strolled in with my head held high. Besides, it's late into the evening (or early morning) by the time your arrive with your guest so there's almost no one in the lobby, just the staff who already know what's up and who don't care anyway as they've seen it all before.

Have a blast bro ...

I highly recommend this place, near to all the action (2 min walk) yet just set apart from it too.

These are real people with feelings, even if it is on cash / business footing. The LOS is one of the most 3rd gender tolerant places I have ever been. Most LB's are far more femanine & attractive than the majority of the western women out there. You should be more than happy to walk about with them. There will be plenty of stares, SO WHAT!! Who's having fun tonight, probably not them.

Indeed, indeed brothers. I have "walked", hand in hand, in San Francisco and New York - bright day light, not to mention. And believe me, they are not as passable as the girls you guys have in LOS. People stares, and they go back changing little brat's diapers. Fuck them!
btw, what about Banyantree? I'd like to give myself a treat this summer...

I just booked direct with the Dynasty Inn Grande and they gave me a rate of 1800 bht (reg rate 2250 bht). Not too bad.

Unfortunately, that is only for two people. For a third person (second guest) they charge an additional 500 bht.

Fortunately for me, one lady should be enough for me to suffer a major heart attack.

I always prefer to stay at Majestic Grande with good rate thru Majestic Suites, but i'm getting no response to my multiple emails, so i'm searching for a new place -
the Dynasty Grand looks interesting - but i couldn't find it at asiatravel and know NOTHING about it except the brief note here.
So...is it really new or just an old hotel with new owner?
For 1800 thb will i get a newer, nicer, cleaner room than i would at the majestic suites?
i'm gonna assume it's totally lb friendly, but ANY other tips/advice would be appreciated and rewarded with a beer - i'll be there one week from tomorrow!

I should have checked the Asia Travel link before I put it up  -  I normally do but didn't in this case  
Checked around properly this time and interestingly I can't find it on any discount site at the moment.

If you use the link and/or e-mail  Dynasty Grande  and the e-mail address  [email protected] I would expect they will get back to you very quickly.

The hotel is new  -  it opened around the new year.  The staff have been moved from the Dynasty Inn which the company still own/operate.
The staff there were brilliant  -  about the best I've met in a hotel  -  hopefully they have not changed.

The rooms I believe are bigger than the Dynasty Inn.  That could make them as much a twice the size of the rooms in the Majestic Suites.

The downsides are they could still be doing construction work nearby and a couple of months ago there was no internet access in the rooms.  I could be out of date on both of these though.
