Manhattan Hotel/Royal Asia Paradise BKK

I will be in BKK in a few weeks and have bookings at The Manhattan and Royal Asia Paradise. The rate is good and they both look ok.  

Wondering if anyone has stayed at either of these and if they are guest/LB friendly ?

i was at the manhattan about 15 years ago and the rooms were a bit shabby,restaurant ok and clean,charged me to bring a girl to my room too,dont know if lb friendly i was into gg then also road outside always flooded(july/august) sorry to piss on your chips it may be better now?
