Hotels neat the airport in Bangkok?

Flight gets in at 2am so looking for a place near the airport to crash for one night.   Just looking for a basic quiet place that's close to the airport, will head into Pattaya the following day.  Any suggestions?

My suggestion is to take Mr T's car service or a taxi directly to Pattaya.

You'll be there in 75 minutes and bars still open.

However to answer your question Brother Dog, the Great Residence if booked thru Agoda is cheap and provides van servce from the airport to the hotel.

I'd echo PD's comment- for the sake of an extra hour or so get down to patts. I'm doing a transit through Bkk next week enroute to Europe from Phuket and am in the 'Convenient Resort' near the airport- 22 US through Travellerspoint latestay. Only in there for 8 hurs but its better than hanging around the airport. They have a fre shuttle service as well. For fuck sake get a bus or taxi to Pattaya.
