I had no trouble with Mary at their bigger brother "Grand mercure" soi 22, but as soon as I took a Thai LB in there, the shite hit the fan. I just tipped e'm bollox, as it was My last night, could see it being a massive problem if I took a different one back every night though.I dont think accor like local LB's.

I called in to IBIS Nana today. As stated by Snapper, they do NOT charge a joiner fee. (I thought maybe Snapper had used his charm on them, or that they took a shine to Top )
The walk-in rate is between 1450 and 2000, but cheaper booking at the reservation centre (or Wotif.com or similar)TT

I have not seen the ibis but with so many hotels offering special deals it is worth shopping around.
I was reading that the Grand Millennium on Sukhumvit and their hotel in Phuket is offering rooms for just 1,000 Baht.
That is pretty good as it normally costs over 3/4,000 and it has a pool etc.

I had stayed 4 nights in March and 3 nights in April at IBis Nana Hotel. Booking through Agoda.com, about 28US$ per room per night with FREE NO-Limited internet Access, but no breakfast included.
IBIS NANA is LB-friendly for sure. I bring different LB everynight, no problem at all. Only GG receptionist gave me odd eyes every time.
The price is going up in May, better to look for other internet booking system (35$ in Agoda). The free internet may become a history.
But really nice location to Guess Bar and 4 LB bars at Nana.

It can not be anything else except location, location, location. You men eat your dinner, eat your pork and beans
I eat more chicken, than any man ever seen, yeah, yeah
