I booked a room at the Solitaire Bangkok which is located on Soi 11.
However my room was not in the main hotel tower. It was in a separate building called the Ruby Wing which was behind the main hotel on Soi 13.
I think due to the type of room I booked with a balcony I was put in this wing.
This part of the hotel looked like they perhaps took over another hotel and added it to their complex. Anyways it did not have anyone at the front desk of the Ruby Wing so when I brought back 5 ladyboys from Check In 11 they just came right up to my room with me. Then the next night I brought 1 ladyboy who stayed for 2 nights.
So if you like a hotel where you can bring in ladyboys like an apartment, this may be good.
I never asked if I was supposed to actually register them but there was no security or problems regarding this.
This hotel is 2 blocks from Check In 11 Bar and 3 blocks from Cindy's Secrets. So very handy and I attended both of those bars.
It has a nice but small pool area and gym and the rooms are quite nice. I booked a room with a balcony and it had a balcony, you just weren't allowed to use it.
The bed was super big like a California King size but they had to put 2 Queen size blankets to cover the whole thing.
Overall good room but I could have got it cheaper by not getting a balcony room but not sure if that would have put me in the main wing.
I paid 2000 baht per night on Agoda but I booked the day before I arrived so it is likely cheaper if you book well in advance.
