have booked a hotel in hua hin called the hin nam sai suay andyone had the plesure?? seens very reasonable at 1400 per night for a superior room right on beach

Good to hear your trying Hua Hin. Found this review on www.tripadvisor.com

Looks good on all the websites and sounds good value compared to some other hotels.

We that is my Japanese wife and myself really enjoyed our 2 week stay at a condo room in this hotel. The condo rooms are very similiar to the hotel rooms I thnk.The only thing that we missed was a beach view. It is a short trek to the beach.The restaurant across the road from the Hin Nam sai Suay is truely excellent. The pool was also unique. An excellent place to stay. We'd go there again.

You are centrally located in that area so getting around is only a walk. I know you and your girl love to get around on a bike so i reccomend the national park around 30 km's out of Hua Hin. It is a great place with waterfalls and scenery. A few photo shoots in the waterfall would please the punters! Have a great trip mate.
