Chiang mai hotel

I will be in CM early May for a week and like to be in the general night market / gay-ladyboy bar area. Ive stayed a few places around there but yet to find the perfect hotel.

Im happy to pay under 2000 baht per night for a nice place...close to where I want to be.

If anyone has a recommedation please let me know, and if any board members will be there at that time...Im happy to meet up

the only place can recommend [because it's the only place I have ever stayed] is the Imperial Mae Ping, which near the night market and has no problems as far as guests. very nice place, 4-star, about 1800 per night.

do a google search......you will see that and many more if you enter hotels chiang mai

I have heard the Porn Ping Hotel is OK also

Try the Chiang Inn they also have a good lunch buffet but that's a few years ago Good Luck.

Only place I've stayed is the Galare. Some are charmed by this place but the charm eluded me. It doesn't suck and the price is right but if I ever go to CM again, I'll try a different place.
