I cannot remember a direct flight to Thailand since I started going in 2007.
Now they announced a direct flight from Vancouver, Canada to Bangkok.

For a long time there was a direct flight to Bangkok from Los Angeles LAX and later one from NYC.
I also think there was direct flights from Sao Paulo and possibly other South American cities.
