With a flight arriving after 10 PM, do you guys think it's worth it to bust my ass to get to Nana plaza before it closes? If the bars close around 2 AM, does the action die down right away? Plus, would a taxi driver even want to take me to a hotel on Sukhumvit 4 at that time of night or is the traffic too crazy? I was planning on staying at the Ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit 4 to be near the action. My rough estimate is to get checked in by midnight and be at Nana around 1.
I think it would be doable, but I don't want a lot of hassle with traffic and if the good talent is all pretty much picked over by then, maybe I shouldn't bother. I'll be flying in from the Philippines after a week of cavorting with ladyboys there, so my itch won't need to be scratched too much and the next day I'm off to Pattaya for fun and sun there.
I could also try an escort service (smooci.com/bangkok/trans caught my eye). Or I could just go to Pattaya that night so I could get an early start the next day.
What do you guys think?
Thanks for all.
Cheers!

I forgot to say that this will be my first trip to Thailand. Maybe I'll try Why Not and/or Check In bar and do Nana plaza on my return leg. I HAVE to see and experience Nana Plaza! I've got 9+ months still to figure it all out. I think you're right Crag, that it would be best to go to Pattaya in the daytime...even it it's just so I can enjoy the scenery during the day rather than in the middle of the night.
