Decided to book a studio apartment at centre point Langsuan. I read a few reviews and they were all positive. For 2700 baht per night i didn't think it was bad.

I have not stayed there - but be aware Soi longsuan is a one way street - you end up in a taxi going all the way down longsuan, up Wireless - straight over Sukhumvit onto Petburi road and then back down Soi Sukhumvit soi3. When I drive it, I avoid the rush hour if possible - it could take an hour to get from Langsuan to say Nana Plaza. At 3am, its great - the Tunnel nightclub is down from the apts your talking about - and getting back is a piece of cake as no traffic but normally during the day, Wireless, Petburi and soi 3 are gridlocked. I would suggest daytime, making the most of the skytrain.
Having said that Longsuan is considered one of the best residential soi's in the CBD - lots of good restaurants, coffee shops etc and little evidence of 'girls of the night, let alone LB's'. You can expect more attention if your bringing back girls to your room as its not considered 'normal' for the average guest - not unexpected, but not so accepted and expected as in say, Dynasty Grande.

Cheers Mardhi, I picked this place cos I planning to spend some time with a non working gg while I'm there and didn't want to be bumping into lbs on their way to nana
