Udon Thani and Khon Kaeng

I am planning to spend a few days (New years eve) in Udon Thani and Khon Kaen to explore the local LB scene
I am asking the great experts if there is any experience or detailled info about these two cities?
I was told by an Isan- LB in Patt that there are quite a few of them there.

There is a scene at each of these two cities and I know more about the opne in Khon Kaen.

Generally there is NOT a scene for farangs, but you won't be turned away either. The ladyboys will be older and less polished than the ones in Bangkok.

It would help you to get aquainted with a few lbs on line first that hang out in this area. Then you can meet them and have them show you around.

To be honest if you are just there for a week or so you'll be disappointed. There aren't swarms of teenage beauties sitting idle waiting for you!

Beware of drunk ladyboys and lbs on drugs. It's endemic in these scenes in the uncontrolled areas outside of the major cities.

i just travelled through Udon thani...

Albeit for 1 night~~~

We only came across 1 laneway of clubs for drinking with ladies
and they had a few ladyboys....

Couple of cute GG and some average LB available

All in all a disappointing experience compared to other places in thailand...

and the english barrier was far more pronounced~~

However someone with more experience may be able to shed more light

Got taken in by my GF to come to Udon Thani for the New Year and found it to be a very sleepy place. The Hotel Charoensri is probably the largest hotel here with good location next to a shopping mall. The rooms here are really really worn down. The pillows and blankets must be > 10 years old and the original since they are disgustingly stale looking and stank. The pool looks nice however the water is EXTREMELY cold , must be 25C or lower.

My GF says the food in Udon is arai(delicious) and somtang is readily available. I have been here 3 days already and haven't tasted 1 decent somtang. The moral of the story is, if your GF ask you to come to Udon, just say NO!

Went to her uncle's home last night and got the ATM treatment with her family asking what I will buy her (with her aunt pointing at the finger and neck for a ring and necklace) then asked me how much money I will give her. I was drunk so I say I will give her a 5 baht ring and 5 baht necklace, plus 600k baht for good measures. Anyway, I don't think I have a positive impression of Udon Thani because of this bad experience. I think I am considering breaking up with her since she obviously doesn't have a understanding of what it means to please a man.

Can't wait until I get back to BKK and Patty and bang a nice LB. Patty is the best!

usually all u have to do is find the biggest/most popular disco in any town, and there will ALWAYS be a table of LBs or at least a few stray LB mixed in with ggs and guy friends
they are usually happy when a farang shows interest in them in public, especially if you r good looking and on the younger side.
