LB/GG? in Kunming (China), Laos, Thai border

Hi,

Perhaps someone has been there and could lead me into the right direction. I will be in Kunming, China and then go into Laos and perhaps that border-area in Thailand. I guess LBs will be harder to find. Any recommendation for good GG-places and of course any LB-hints will be appreciated. Can#t make it to BKK or Patt. this time
