Ahhhh,  you are thinking of my OLD favorite spot, TB.......I've switched sides and become a Koh Lanta guy these days;  just far enough away from Phuket and Krabi so as not to be bothered by the crowds, but close enough so if I want some nookie I can be over and back to paradise in a day or 3;

Another approach to consider is emailing APPLE and booking her. She will meet you at door # 3 and bullet you into BKK. No hassles, no worries, no negotiations with someone who does not speak English. I am sure she would do it for 350 to 400baht flat. She is a pleasure and extremely reliable.
