(bottomfeeder @ Dec. 18 2006,21:44) Although having your own travel insurance is probably the best idea; if you travel to Bkk very often you might want to look into getting a Bumrungrad patient I.D. card. You can sign up to be a patient at Bumrungrad and they issue an ID card with you patient #.
Hey if you're heading over to Guess and it's not quite open yet then take a stroll over to Bumrungrad!

Seriously, this is a good idea. So if nothing is wrong you can get pre-approved?

Bangkok-Pattaya or Pattaya Intl have this too?

All this is excellent information and holds true for any country that does not have "western" style medical services. Even in countries with such medical services costs will be high, so travel medical insurance is just as important.

This is actually good information for the travel forum too!

Travel medical insurance, don't leave home without it!
