Aus is a Commonwealth country so it is a lot easier for Sing and Malay girls to get their asses here.........

Yes, it is possible. I worked for Customs and Immigration in Australia and as long as you are honest up front and prepare to support her whilst in Australia with a cover letter stating that, you won't have too many problems. If she has a good job and some money in the bank it will make it easier. They will ask these questions and check references and her job background , so unless you know someone from immigration in Bangkok dont lie on your application.

The other way is via a student visa but that entails 3 months min. english language course. That would cost you $200 - 250.00 per week plus accom, food and airfares. Do the maths and you will see flying to Bangkok is cheaper. Tourist visa is better but be careful and dont put money into her account to justify the immigration protocols. Many have and lost everything. The other scam is asking for money for the air ticket and visa costs and then disappearing. But that only applies to those stupid enough to be living in another country and trying to do these things via email and telephone. Good luck mate

Malaysia offers quite some talents! Singapore as well, but in a different way and not much fun going there...such and expensive place!
