I hate staying in Perth Australia for new years eve, so ive booked 10 days in Pattaya staying at sunshing hotel arriving boxing day, who gives a shit what its like i just know im better of in LOS ten fold.

I got xmas in Bkk and pattaya, new year in Chaing mai then a few days in phuket or samui then back to patts for a week

l have been to Phuket three times and stayed at Patong beach and can say that there are not that many good L/b bars.

Bangkok, have tried Nana and found them a little too pushy.

l prefer Kings bar on Soi Patpong one, good atmosphere, excellant L/b's.

This year will be there for new year, looking forward to it.

If you do find a nice one in Bangkok l would suggest her staying with you for a few days and if everything is ok take her away with you to Phuket.

Don't know about Pattaya but in Phuket it is a constant struggle to hang on to your hard earned cash.

Every Tuk Tuk driver wants your cash, every girl sitting outside the massage parlour every suit shop owner, etc, etc, etc.....

If you take a Thai L/b or a lady with you they will look after you with shopping and eating and they tend to stop you getting ripped off.

l take one and she takes me to the best restaurant where the locals go for better and cheaper food, haggles for me at the markets, she saves me much more than she costs, simple economy really. And l always know who l am going home with.

If you don't take one you have bar fines and such like to consider, plus the added bonus that if you take one with you it makes for fun afternoons too.
