Airfare from NYC to BKK?

Anyone know of a good agency that can arrange a trip to BKK for me and a buddy in April of 07?
He'll be returning to NYC after one week but I'll be travelling to China to see my wife's family so it may be a tough trip to plan just hoping someone here has some experience in that dept.

If you have 60K United/Star Alliance miles perhaps the following free trip would make sense.

JFK-BKK non-stop on Thai
BKK-PEK non stop on Thai
PEK-Jfk (or EWR) 1 stop at Chicago or SF.

If you just call a United rep they may not look for the right flights on a complicate booking.

But if you check each leg on

This checking is for flight availabilty not whwter FF seats are available, that must be dione on phone with United rep.
