power points / plugs in thailand

Hi,

This seems like the best forum to ask in

Im brining my laptop when i come to LOS on sunday, its made in japan

the plug looks something like this



the socket it goes into looks like this



is this the same as in thailand? or wil i need some adapter for the socket?

Never had a problem in BKK, Pattaya, or Samui so long as the voltage of the equipment was compatible, but did in an older hotel in Phuket...

You can buy adaptor plugs and they're cheap...

from the looks of that website, i wont need an adaptor, should be able to plug in and go (talking about my laptop here..)
