I was in a stone cold Irish bar in Manhatten awhile back, about half in the bag and the bartenders were bantering in their native "tongue". Me, being a much less intellegent smart ass than I am now, blurted "what? this some kind of English bar?" fuck me, the guys come charging up to me and one in spitting anger says "Sis loook like a fooking English bar!!! With out missing a beat I said "English, Irish, y'all sound the same to me". .....I was never ever so close to death in my life seriously, it cost me a pile of "tips" to cool them down, which was more as insurance I could get out of there alive.
