Koh samet!

I stayed in a new bungalow resort on Ao Wong Duan beach, the ones on the very right hand side of beach with back to the sea.

I thought they were of very high standard, but iam a bit of a bum. I think it was about 1600 baht per night with air con.

When i could tear myself away from odet, the view the other way was pretty good too.

The shower room was cool too, lots fo light and space, great for an afternoons fun.

Samet is a cool place but very quiet, its not somewhere you would want to go alone. Although if you do, make your way to Silversands resort after 12pm. Its the only place open and its buzzing till about 4am, i saw at least 6 lbs there although not best of lookers before 4 bottles of chang. But fucking lovely after.

If I was "single" Odett would be on my list as a traveling companion.

Vong Duong Beach is very isolated while Sai Kaew Beach gives more nightlife options.  From SaiKaew Beach you can walk to Silversands at night.but you can't from Von Duong.

The maps are deceptive cause the dirt road to the beaches north of Von Duong are in total darkness.

Different boat to VonDuong, best to buy ticket at the pier.

I'm thinking of trying new islands but this thread is making me realize how much I love Samet.

I've gone their with three different ladyboys and they all seemed to like it allot.


When you go I recommend that you rent a moped one day and explore the entire island.  you can see firsthand the vibe of all the different beaches.

But with the dirt roads, I prefer to rent two mopeds rather than having a girl on the back of mine.

In Pattaya I stay at a 500 baht a night hotel, but I splurge on Samet. The room is more important when two people are living there for a few days. I figure if I going to all the trouble of bringing a ladyboy on a trip, the room should be comfortable and conducive to great sex.
