Hey All New here and got a question im wondering about.

Mainly about safe sex and such. How clean are the LB's ?

Is HIV/AIDS common? Amongest LB/GG's ?
hiv/aids is only contracted from someone who has the desease right?

Basicly tips and such since i plan to head to thailand some time late this year and was wondering how these things would differ from were i live now in canada.

i assume they all have STDs and therefore always play safe (ish).
i regard punting as a very high risk hobby, like adventure sports such as base jumping
like base jumping if you pack your parachute properly (condom) and follow the guideline (cleanliness, check her first etc..) you'll be fine (probably).

I read an article last year in a Phuket English paper that said: 30 % of gay sex workers are HIV +. And considering many LB's often have gay b/f's you should assume that the HIV infection rate among ladyboys is close to or at similar numbers.

Remember these girls are having sex almost everyday. The popular ones are getting banged a couple of times a day. At that rate it doesn't take long before you get something.

I'll probably post this again in my trip report, but in my 2 trips to LOS I would estimate at least 70% of the LBs I was with offered or attempted to have sex with me without a condom. That's an astounding figure and I'm not foolish enough to believe that I'm the only that they're offered it up to. Think of that and I guarantee you'll want to rubber up.

take your own condoms , your own lube and i take wipes as well. As Dummy Plug says they will offer BB but go buy a lottery ticket instead if u want to gamble

I'd be curious to hear about the percentage of LBs that have offered to go bareback with other punters. I was really shocked that these girls are willing to take such a risk (it's a risk for them too) with their lives. Aside from the fact that you're gambling with your life, but having AIDS/HIV in the sex industry can doom your professional life too. Once word gets out you're positive, no bar would hire them and the prospects of a streetwalker are far lower than someone working in an established bar. And I really don't see what going bareback does for them.
