New year beach vacation

Hi Guys (and girls

Just a note to solicit some recommendations for an upcoming fun getaway

The LB whom I have been dating in recent weeks has - much to my delight - expressed and interest in getting away from Bangkok for a few days during the upcoming holiday period

Our destination criteria - which I seek your assistance in meeting - are

++ great beach and resort for tanning, swimming, and spa activities;  and

++ great nightlife nearby (not necessarily at the resort); and

++ high acceptance level for a LB guest

Clearly, Phuket comes to mind - but there may be other options out there as well

As I have not done a "5-star" resort stay in Thailand for some time, I am unfamiliar with the current complement of resorts - or their orientation towards a LB on the premises

Any suggestions are most welcomed - with thanks

Great 5-star retreats are on Samui, along with enough LB's to keep you busy for a couple of months. Pukhet is always an option, but I haven't been there after the Tsunami and I'm not sure if the Amanpuri is happy with LB nightovers. Otherwise I'd recommend a new years BJ on Pattaya beach.....

While I haven't been to Samui in years (and thought the place a bit quiet when I was there) I will certainly do some research - any "5-star" suggestions there?

Your reply sugests I should clarify our needs a bit

My 29-year old LB friend works exceptionally hard in the modeling, fashion, and entertainment business while simultaneously pursuing a masters degree at Thamassat University (a 'top 5' school in Thailand)

Sexual orientation and "entertainment" business lifestyle notwithstanding, her thinking and behavior in many ways tends to fall on the conservative side of contemporary Thai standards

Example - after a proper introduction (through mutual friends) and a number of weeks of dating, we have yet to sleep together as (with my happy concurrence) she wishes to reserve the 'first time' for a special occasion such as this upcoming trip

Since I am told she is among the dozen most well-known LBs in the country, she understandably take pride in the social status that comes with being a recognizable face

Thus her stated desire during the holiday to take a break from work and school for a few days to

- begin the next phase of our relationship with some great sex in a plush ocean-front or ocean-view room (the Pattaya beach BJ will hopefully come another day

- try out a couple of new bikinis, work on her tan, and get pampered in the spa a bit

- avoid any unfortunate encounters with narrow-minded resort staff or guests while doing so; and

- kick up her heels with a mixed straight / gay and Thai / farang crowd in town at night

While not 100% passable, my good friend is nevertheless an absolute knockout in everything from army-green tank top + jungle fatigue shorts (her "LB Lara Croft" look) to silk designer dress (absolutely stunning)

Update

My LB companion ended up expressive a preference for partying in Patong, so Phuket it will be 31 DEC - 04 JAN

Much time online required to accommodate her request

All BKK-HKT flights were sold out on those days except for a TG 'extra section' (additional flight for peak days) timed perfectly for hotel check-in / check-out times - very lucky to get seats

If you are planning on going during this time frame you may - absent the addition of more BKK flights - have to depart from Pattaya or fly via Chiang Mai elsewhere

Phuket hotels are just about full up as well for the period, particularly those with a beach orientation
