Anyony have any info on tattoo parlors in Bangkok? They sanitary? Expensive? Common?

I had my tattoo done my joy wong on soi 5 (opposite gullivers) 12 months ago, it was quite expensive at 9500baht( my g/f went beserk, coz i could have done cheaper) but I believe she has a very good reputation and the place was always busy, many farangs in there chatting to her from across the globe.
She did a good job on me, as it was my first and only tattoo and I think it says,Thailand-Land of Smiles
